For those of you that love Wolves.............

I am posting this so that anyone who loves wolves can choose to contribute to the plight of 12 wolves that may be put down if the people trying to help cannot come up with the funds to rescue them. These are wolves that some people for whatever reason bred in captivity, these wolves cannot not be set free because they no longer know not to go to people for food. Because of this they will need to be kept in an enclosure to ensure we the people are safe as well as giving these poor wolves an opportunity to live out their lives in an enclosure where volunteers will provide them with food, shelter and companionship. Wolves should NEVER be bred in captivity nor should anyone make the mistake of thinking they can be pets, they are not domestic dogs, they are wild animals who should be treated with the respect they deserve. Please help these people, if you can, who are doing their best to provide a safe haven as well as educate the public. I know not everyone can provide monetary help, but we can all like their page and provide prayers. I hate animal abuse and feel all animal lovers should ban together and put a stop to needless cruelty, breeding wolves in captivity is as cruel as putting a puppy into a desert to fend for itself, both are inhumane.

I heard a story similar to this. This girl bred these mix bred of wolf with dogs. The neighbors complained of all the howling coming from her place. Unfortunately they ended up eating her.

I watched the video, she was not eaten, she made the mistake a lot of stupid people make, they think they can have wolves as pets, that is not going to happen. Wolves are wild animals that must be respected for what they are. Breeding wolves with dogs is one of the stupidest things people can do. In the wild no wolf is going to mess with humans, they will run away from us out of fear, believe me that is a good thing. Humans have never been prey for wolves they prefer deer IF they can get it but will most likely spend most of their lives eating rabbits or other rodents. The wolves in this video were establishing dominance which is what mature wolves do within a pack, once a wolf is defeated it leaves or stays a subordiant to the alpha wolf. That woman was stupid to think she could treat her wolves as if they were dogs, Her leadership was challenged and obviously she lost.

Me too, I just pray for them, I'm one of those with limited funds, but these people are so sweet and appriciative of prayers too.

This makes me sick. As much as I have heard stories about animal abuse, it still sickens me. How people can be so stupid, cruel and heatless. Their monsters, and I agee with you M L M. Thanks for posting this.

wow, my dad's second wifes mother had a dog that was part wolfe, she was pretty protective. She also had some pups with a wild wolf, I always wanted one but my dad said no.

Your dad was smart, wolves are wild animals not domestic dogs and need to be respected for that and when bred with a dog you don't know what attributes the wolfdog will take on. Its safer for all concerned if they are given the kind of enclosure and care these people are trying to provide.

I agree, I'm saving up some money so I can sponsor one of them next year, I just wish I could give them a monthly check to help. I'm workin on it.
