Selena Gomez was left in tears after Justin Bieber dumped her earlier this month. Witnesses happened to hear, okay maybe they were eavesdropping, Selena telling her friends all about her relationship woes over lunch at P.F. Changs on July 1. Hmm, sounds like those break up rumors were true after all.
One witness reports, "Selena and some girlfriends came in for lunch, and she was in a serious mood." Obviously, Selena was not in the mood to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans and tried to conceal her identity. "She swept her hair forward to cover her face and kept really quiet," the witness reports.
Selena's demeanor was not the only tell-tale sign of the breakup. An eavesdropper reveals, "I overheard them talking about how she and Justin had broken up." Apparently, she was so heartbroken it took her several days to get over it.
A Selena insider says, "She was in tears for 72 hours, saying Justin was over the relationship and wanted to be single." Whether the witnesses are elaborating or not, there certainly seems to be some truth to the couple's relationship status being on the rocks. Apparently, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have worked through their issues, for now, and are spending time together in Japan.
