President Obama's half-brother George, who subsists on two dollars a day while living in a hut, is playing a central role in a conservative film which attacks the Democrat's policies.
George, an affable man of about thirty, calls home a corrugated metal shack in Nairobi, Kenya. George doesn't resent his famous brother, and doesn't expect any financial support either.
"I'm a member of his family, but I'm over-age, so I help myself. He's taking care of the world, so he's taking care of me," he said, while being interviewed for the documentary, 2016: Obama's America.
It's interesting that President Obama hasn't lifted a finger to aid his strapped half-brother. This is the president, after all, who is always urging wealthy people to do their "fair share", whatever that means. The president has even used biblical language to excuse his soak-the-rich ideology.
In fact, during a speech three months ago, the president said, "I am my brother's keeper. I am my sister's keeper. That's a value."
Of course, like a typical liberal, he believes raising taxes is the only way to help those less fortunate. But, it's hard to take Obama's noblesse oblige seriously, when he doesn even help his own family members.

Talk about trying to create a controversy out of nothing.
Racism.
Commentator 2: "You're a racist."
Commentator 1: "Why does that me a racist?"
Commentator 2: "Because I didn't have lunch."
The effort to criticize him on made up BS, rather than simply critiquing his policies and record, is a reflection of the widespread racism on the right.
Obama's own brother is living in squalor and he doesn't care yet we are to believe that he cares about his country? His Brother believes that Obama is the leader of the world and the help is coming. How sad! What a bastard Obama is...
He doesn't help one poor who doesn't need help = GOP Cries
No matter what he does, the GOP will whine.
That's code for making everybody equally miserable. Liberals can't stand happy successful people and demand that liberal misery is spread around. They just can't put the bong down...
But most of the world, including most of America, are neither corporatist nor communists. Most of the world is perfectly comfortable with some competition and initiative so long as it doesn't go to the extreme of making most people destitute while making the elite obscenely wealthy.
Renee;
So where is it? Do you honestly think that a return to Clinton era tax rates is unfair, when it was so successful, and Republican tax policies (and foreign and domestic policies as well) have been such abject failures?
So was Clinton.
""After all, he presided over an administration where the top marginal tax rate was 90%.""
And Clinton presided over a tax rate lower than Reagan's, even after his hikes, and you see Reagan as the Rich panderer. By the way, right before the economic boom under Clinton where there was supposed to be surpluses as far as the eye could see, Clinton lowed Capital Gains taxes by 7%. I would never have guessed that lowering taxes on investment would spark economic growth. I always thought raising taxes and giving it to unions was the answer.

So when Obama looked down his nose to the American people and said "I am my brother's keeper", as an excuse to raise taxes, he was full of s**t? I never would have guessed that...
I know that being on the right makes you used to calling things the exact opposite of what they are, but you're taking it to ridiculous lengths.
