Kate Gosselin's time on Twitter Tuesday night was different than most. While Kate normally spends a little time every night responding to tweets from fans, this evening she offered up a vague apology of sorts. So what had the mother of eight begging her followers for "understanding?"
Kate Gosselin tweeted, "Sorry I've been MIA... I've been distracted by life..I stop in, read and comment occasionally. Best I can do right now!Thx 4 understanding!" Wow, this is a far cry from the other day when she was playing weight loss guru on Twitter.
Now that's strange. All she really had time for in the morning was to tweet out a couple of promotional messages about some cereal bars. She actually avoids social media for about eight hours and then apologizes to the world for not being there thanks to being "distracted by life."
Strangely, this might be the most normal thing she has said in days. Kate Gosselin actually had too much going on in her life (since raising 8 kids isn't enough to keep her occupied) to not sit on the computer and play with Twitter for once. Is she actually serious or is Kate fishing for a little sympathy?

Yes, She's fishing for sympathy (when doesn't she).
I do wonder if her Coupon Cabin blog is one of the reasons she's distracted. This week, she posted some grossly irresponsible suggestions for saving a buck. Coupon Cabin cannot be happy with her right now.
She said to keep your receipts for returns (duh. She never even mentioned to keep them is case the item goes on sales within the week).
THEN (get this), she suggested opening store cards for an additional discount when purchasing.
I'm sure you know this but for those who may not be aware: Store cards can negatively affect your credit rating, have traditionally high interest rates and little to no rewards or incentives. Most financial experts warn against having them.
And they actually pay her?!?
It's not only ignorant, it's irresponsible blogging.
Beats me.
And Kate knows it.
I've watched enough footage of Kate to know that she had little respect for her fans. One episode shot in Philadelphia at the children's museum even caught Kate ridculing them after she hopped on a bus. It was a split second moment, but her attitude of disgust was my final moment of realization that this lady will never get it.
At book signings, she didn't exactly give you the warm fuzzies when speaking with folks who stood in line.
She is well-known in her area for diva behavior and has been known at local malls to request that her "fans" be kept away from her (even when they weren't showing any interest in her!).
It was only when her ratings were dropping and the show was in jeopardy that she finally mustered up some energy to pay attention to the fans. That attention came in the form of twitter and was too little, too late.
In a week, Kate travels to Chicago for a mini-marathon. Coupon Cabin advertised the event a few weeks back and even offers a discount to run the same marathon. There is no meet & greet.
A few fans wanted to get together with Kate in August for a run (like Kate did with her "marathon girls" last month). Kate told them she couldn't do it because she would be too busy in August getting the kids ready for school. Yet she had a cruise booked for a week in August.
But because she tweets them stories about how her dog vomited up a dead animal and how she spent the 4th of July all alone and how the kids won't let her play with them, they remain devoted to her narcissism.
