Usher is reportedly awaiting word from the state agency investigating his stepson Kile Glover's jet ski accident. The boy was struck by a family friend driving a jet ski on a Georgia lake this weekend, and now its said that charges may be filed against the driver.
According to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kile Glover is considered brain-dead by doctors caring for him in Atlanta. The family hasn't made an official statement yet, however.
Atlanta resident Jeffrey S. Hubbard is the family friend responsible for the accident that left Kile Glover brain-dead. He struck the boy, who was riding on an inner tube pulled by another boat, as well as a teenage girl. Her identity hasn't been released. It's uncertain if charges are filed whether he'll be charged with reckless endangerment or something else. It's unknown if alcohol is involved.
Prayers are going out to Usher and his family via Twitter. Celebrities, including Justin Bieber, his manager Scooter Braun and his mom, Pattie Mallette, have sent him words of support as well as wishes for a miracle for his stepson's recovery.
