Demi Lovato will soon add 'awards show host' to her repertoire of talents including that of The X Factor judge. The Skyscraper and Give Your Heart a Break singer will host FOX's 2012 Teen Choice Awards on July 22nd.
According to a report from Celebuzz, Demi has certainly made strides in the past year and a half since leaving rehab. Uncertain then if she'd ever revive her flailing career, the former Disney star has quickly made her way to an A-list celebrity.
Singer Carly Rae Jepsen is expected to perform her hit single Call Me Maybe at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, and appearances by the Glee cast and New Girl star Zooey Deschanel are scheduled, too.
Demi Lovato is in good company as a host for the awards show since prior hosts include Katy Perry and Kaley Cuoco. This is no doubt considered an honor by Lovato and yet another way to prove herself since her career comeback went into full swing.
