Rihanna and Chris Brown have been through the rockiest of relationships and that status really hasn't changed of late. The heated Twitter love triangle between the Barbadian beauty, Brown and his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, lasted for an extended time, with both girls getting pretty competitive in the contest for attention, resulting in some provocative posts. And, of course, even more recently, Brown and RiRi's maybe boy fling, Drake, were in a rather serious nightclub fight.
However, despite all the drama, there's one person who's definitely pushing it all aside and firmly stating that the "Birthday Cake" songstress and Breezy should definitely be a couple once again.
A potential reunion between Rihanna and Chris Brown has polarized fans and followers of the two entertainers, which is not surprising given the rough and violent path that led to their first split, not to mention some of Brown's rather aggressive actions afterwards.
So that's why it may seem a bit shocking that RiRi's own father approves of a reconciliation. "Chris has matured a lot," Ronald Fenty told Britain's Grazia magazine, as Celebuzz reports. "I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her."
While Fenty is probably concerned about his daughter's happiness in the game of love and perhaps knows that she may still have feelings for her ex, it still seems a rather progressive position for a father to take. Daddies are generally super-protective over their "little girls"—even if the often scantily clad RiRi is far from her childhood days.
He did try to back up his stance even more by saying, "Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple." The "perfect couple" thing is certainly a sweeping statement that may be taking their possibly reconciled romance a bit too far. It seems any future relationship between these two entertainers will still be riddled not only with passion, but also with challenges.
In fact, Rihanna even recently admitted to Harper's Bazaar that she was afraid to love again, no doubt alluding to her tumultuous break-up with Chris Brown. So will the "We Found Love" singer find it again?
