When planning on getting married, one of the most important things for a bride-to-be is that her family, especially her dad, likes her soon-to-be groom. Luckily, for Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus seems to approve of her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.
According to a new report, a source close to the former Disney darling dished on just how much Billy Ray approves, saying, "He's welcomed Liam into their family—he's not that overbearing father most girls have, especially when they get engaged. The most important thing to Billy is Miley's happiness, and Liam makes her happy. He makes her more than happy. And that's all Billy wants is for Miley to be happy. Billy's so soft inside he'd probably cry at the wedding more than his wife, Tish. He loves Miley so much and wants her to be on 'cloud ten'—if there's such a thing. Everyone is so supportive, and it's a really happy time for everyone."
Of course, anyone who follows Miley Cyrus knows that Billy Ray has always approved of Liam Hemsworth. In fact, Liam reportedly lived with the Cyrus' family a few years back when he and Miley had started dating. Most dads wouldn't let a young man shack up with their daughter, especially in their own home, but apparently they trusted Liam Hemsworth.
The two have not yet revealed a wedding date, but many are hoping that they go for a long engagement. Even though they are very much in love and their families are approving, they are still young and should take things slow.
