Rihanna is a provocative one, from her wild and skin-baring ensembles to her sometimes seductive Twitter game and her rumored love triangle with ex Chris Brown and his maybe-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. The successful entertainer has also recently been caught up in that recent nightclub brawl with Brown and Drake, which injured a host of innocent bystanders.
But there's no distasteful drama to be found in one of RiRi's latest appearances, on the August 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine. For the glossy, the Barbadian singer shows her true beauty with an air of sophistication—and a bit of edge, too. For the publication's alternate cover, she covers up in a metallic gold jumpsuit by Tom Ford and knee-high, animal-print boots.
Inside Harper's pages, though, is where Rihanna shows her signature revealing side, talking about her body and her bold feelings about love—no ifs, ands or "butts" about it.
"I don't know if there's something going on with my body right now, but I'm eating everything in life! I miss my a**. It just went away! I need a butt. I have an idea of one, but it's not living up to its full potential right now," the "Birthday Cake" songstress admitted. It sounds like she's having her cake and eating it, too, but the sugar rush is not serving up the intended results!
One has to nearly laugh at RiRi's characterization of her derrière and how it's not at its "full potential." But, she undoubtedly loves her curves and her formerly bold backside; after all, she's in the business of confidently flaunting what she's got.
But it's not only her curves that are throwing her a curveball of late. As Just Jared reports, Rihanna told Harper's: "When I was in love, I fell so hard... The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I'd feel that pain in my life. I'm afraid of feeling that again."
It's rather obvious that RiRi has to be referring to her tumultuous relationship with Chris Brown, one that continues to follow her to this day. Hopefully the "We Found Love" singer will once again find the "L" word.
