Is Salman Khan reverting to his bad boy ways? Just a few days ago reports came out from the sets of Ek Tha Tiger which said that Sallu had verbally abused co-star (and ex girlfriend) Katrina Kaif over a cleavage-revealing costume. Now it turns out the rumor was actually that he picked up a stick and began beating her with it. Oh dear!
The information about Salman's physical attack on Kat comes from a "close friend" (how typical) who actually refuted the story--but in doing so only added fuel to the fire. Originally the story was that Salman was furious over a skimpy outfit Katrina was wearing, and began yelling and screaming at her over it in front of the crew. But now the Mumbai Mirror is saying that he also picked up a stick and hit her with it.
One of Kat's friends has come forward and rubbished the story, saying that Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are on great terms.
This is completely untrue. Salman and Katrina chose to work in the same film because there was no animosity between them. They got along famously during the Dublin and the Istanbul schedules. Salman cares for Katrina a lot. She is like family.
Her denial of the story isn't very convincing--no one was asking why Kat and Sallu were working on the same film. And while they may have gotten along great during shoots in Dublin and Istanbul, the alleged violence occurred during a shoot in Mumbai.
It's not difficult to imagine Salman losing his head--during this same shooting schedule he decided to play the diva and wouldn't come out of his vanity van, disrupting the Ek Tha Tiger shooting schedule and leading the crew to accuse him of unprofessional behavior. Honestly it's a small step from acting like a brat on set to throwing a temper tantrum over an ex-girlfriend's wardrobe.
It's unclear what Salman's problem is but he needs to get it under control. It took him a long time to get rid of his jerk image--it'd be a shame to undo all that hard work in just a couple of weeks.
