Dennis, I do believe it is just that lethal. I am also convinced it does more harm to the one who resents than the one who is being resented because the one who is being resented has a way of going on with their life, who the one who resents is loaded down with un-necessary baggage. Thanks for the insightful quote.

Maybe you can still help. Romans 12:20 and Proverbs 25:21-22 both give the same advice. The hot coals in both scriptures refer to softening the person. Even if it works though, I might take a long while.

Have you seen the Terrence Howard movie Crash? If not, borrow it, rent it or but it. The lessons in it apply to your situation.

Dennis, Just reading your replies really make me think, manytimes. It is a good thing for me to keep the brain active. By nature, I am very "mouthy" as my mother always said. Just a part of birthright, but harmless as a dove. Again, thank you for this very insightful topic:)
