Nina Dobrev is Sexier Than Kristen Stewart: It's Official!

Nina Dobrev and Kristen Stewart play two of the hottest humans-turned-vampires ever, and they recently faced off in a battle to see which of them is the sexiest bloodsucking beauty.

They both just recently got turned into vampire vixens - K-Stew got her fangs at the end of Breaking Dawn Part 1, and Nina's character Elena became a vampire at the end of this season of The Vampire Diaries. However, she'd been playing a vampire before the transformation since the show requires her to play dual roles.

Perhaps Nina's other role as the ancient vampire Katherine is what gave her the edge in a Hollywood Life poll, which pitted 11 actresses against each other to see who would emerge as the hottest vampire girl in Hollywood. Since The Vampire Diaries fans have seen what Nina Dobrev is like as a vampire, they might have decided that she's more deserving of the honor.

Meanwhile Twilight fans have to wait until November to see Kristen Stewart in full vampire mode for Breaking Dawn Part 2 - while her beautiful new look (complete with red eyes) has been showcased in film clips and photographs, fans still haven't seen enough to decide if she makes a good vampire.

Or could it be that Nina Dobrev won because people are finally getting tired of the Twilight franchise and Kristen Stewart? It is starting to seem like it's been around forever, and other books like The Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey have come along to steal some of its thunder. However, Nina only beat Kristen by a very small margin -- 0.2 percent! So these two actresses seem to be pretty much equal when it comes to their fan following.

Perhaps this poll is evidence that Nina should be getting cast in big roles like Kristen - K-Stew's Snow White and the Huntsman turned out to be rather successful at the box office, meaning her Twilight fans are following her to other films. Nina might have the same effect on VD fans - it's not hard to imagine her also playing a fairytale character, and who knows? If her boyfriend Ian Somerhalder doesn't get cast in Fifty Shades of Grey, perhaps she should be offered the role of Anastasia Steele (she's already said she won't star in the movie if Ian gets cast).
