Kate Gosselin has not been very nice to her former spouse. However, since Jon admitted his share of fault regarding their marriage, now Kate is saying nice things about him. She didn't have a lot of nice things to say, but she shared one of her 'special' moments.
Yes, Kate, is being nice when it comes to the father of her kids and former TLC partner. Through her Coupon Cabin Blog, Kate talked about how the family celebrated and joined in the parade in Wyomissing, Pa. "One year, Jon and I even tucked our babies into bed and as we began to decorate our double jogger stroller, we felt compelled to cover our garage windows so that no one would catch a glimpse of our masterpiece ahead of time. The competition was fierce, I tell you! It makes me laugh to remember the energy and creativity we turned loose on such a contest."
Of course Kate Gosselin went on to say that they won first prize one time and came in second another year. Kate came in second place? How did she handle that disappointment? Kate only shared that one memory, so perhaps they didn't really have that many good ones for her to blog about.
To fill up space Kate went to serve up some of her frugal tips for celebrating the holiday. Naturally her first tip is to grab all the free flags your community hands out. Why buy something when you can get it for free is Kate's mantra.
According to Kate you shouldn't buy a cake for $20 when you can make your own red/white/blue cake at home. She probably doesn't realize that people have been making their own cakes for hundreds of years. You won't find Kate serving BBQ chicken or juicy steak for her July 4th party. No, Kate Gosselin will be serving her usual burgers, dogs and fruit salad.
Whether you serve burger, dogs and fruit or have your party catered, enjoy the holiday and make your own memories.
