One Direction's Liam Payne is known by the rest of the boys in the band--Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan--as one who tells "dad stories." What exactly does this mean, and are Liam's stories worth hearing?
According to a report from Sugarscape, it seems "dad stories" are those the typical dad might tell. They are often rather boring, but the average dad likely thinks they're hilarious. Liam's fans might not like where this is going.
Liam told a story recently, and was sure it was the funniest thing he'd said in a long while. 
Yes it was a "dad story," and no, it's not that funny. It bears telling just the same.
"I tell you what I got confused with the other day, my mate came over for the first time ever to America and he had some rubbish in his hand," Liam Payne says as he starts telling his story to his One Direction mates.
"And rubbish is obviously trash over here and trash is bin in England," he added.
By this point the guys knew full well they were about to hear a "dad story."
"So he's like 'Excuse me can I put this in the bin?' and she was like 'Bin? Bin?' and he was in the shop like 'Yeah bin,' 'cause he didn't really know what was going on."
And that was Liam Payne's "dad story."
If you're not rolling on the floor laughing--don't worry, you're not alone. None of the One Direction guys found it funny either.
Wouldn't you think they'd simply tell Liam his stories are a boring instead of suffering through them? Would you want to hear another one?
