Nicole Kidman has stayed mum on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' divorce, but it's likely she knows exactly what Katie is experiencing. Cruise's second wife, Kidman, shares two children with the Rock of Ages star.
According to a report from RadarOnline, Kidman and Cruise's divorce was a nasty one, with each party sharing details of the other that became public during the entire ordeal.
Some people are wondering if a rather cryptic statement made by Nicole Kidman regarding her and Cruise's daughter Isabella pertains to the Church of Scientology--which is reportedly the biggest reason Katie Holmes filed for divorce. It pertains to the adoption of their daughter Isabella and Nicole made the statement back in 2007 during an interview with Vanity Fair magazine.
"There's a complicated background to that, given that I never speak much about many things. One day maybe that story will be told," she said when asked about Isabella's adoption.
Isabella and Connor--also adopted by Cruise and Kidman, have lived pretty much the whole time since their parents divorced with their father. Does this fit in with the Scientology ways? Do children typically stay with the parent who is the more active practitioner of Scientology?
Nicole Kidman returned to her Catholic roots following her divorce from Cruise. She has since married country singer Keith Urban and they are raising their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith, as Catholics.
What do you suppose Nicole Kidman knows that she isn't telling Katie Holmes? Does she fear for her own safety or that of her children if she speaks out against Tom Cruise or Scientology?
It certainly seems there's some reason Kidman has stayed mum. Do you expect she'll break her silence, and if so, how long do you think it might be before she does exactly that?
