On Keeping up with the Kardashians, the family "vacay" continues in The Dominican Republic, but it's not all fun and games for this group trying to relax.
In fact, Kris Jenner in particular is not in very good shape.
One problem is that Kris and Bruce aren't getting along because he thinks she met up with her old flame, Todd Waterman, before the clan left for the Caribbean. Not happy with the situation, Jenner goes to sleep in another room far away from his wife.
Sadly, when Kris wakes up, she's rocking a very fat lip. Did she get surgery on her mouth to provide a permanent pout? Was it a botox injection that made her look like she went a round with Muhammad Ali?
Nope.
Apparently, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians matriarch just met up with a mysterious disease. Bruce is not kind to Kris, taunting her by saying, "It's God punishing you for giving Todd your email."
No sympathy there, which is something Kris isn't used to. In fact, she says to camera that he is usually a rock when it comes to dealing with medical matters. So, they ultimately talk about what's bothering him, and Kris tells Bruce she did not get together with Todd. He accepts this as a truce, and even kisses his mutilated looking wife on her fat Daffy Duck lips.
At the same time, Scott Disick is far from wanting to kiss up to the Kardasian mom. In fact, he doesn't want to deal with any of the family and decides to go and check in to another Dominican hotel after he gets busted for drinking and peeing in the garbage can where he has been staying.
Bruce goes over to the new property to try and straighten out the current situation with his daughter's baby daddy, telling Disick he just can't keep running away from every problem that comes his way.
Scott admits to Bruce that his feelings are hurt about a lot of things. He says he feels out of place because he isn't married to Kourtney and so he isn't really part of the family. Not only that but the mother of Mason doesn't want to marry him. Then he tells Bruce how badly he felt at the racetrack when Jenner called Disick "his friend."
Bruce sympathizes about the situation and suggests he pour out his feelings to Kourtney to make her understand that this is a serious matter. Then Bruce returns to the family digs and tells Kourtney that he spoke with Scott.
Kourt seems to understand that she should be nicer to her man. So, when Scott returns to the Dominican digs where the family is staying and says he's sorry for being so unlikable, she and the others lighten up.
Later, Scott speaks to Kourtney about her promise to get married before she became pregnant with their second child but that since that's off the table he is feeling out of it and really insecure. Although she doesn't acquiesce and say she will wed Disick, in a symbol of commitment she goes out with her mom to buy him a special bonding bracelet. He likes it but won't wear it because the jewelry clashes with the rest of his baubles which are gold.
Still, the problems that have recently plagued the characters who make up Keeping Up with the Kardasians are all patched up—for now. Whether this resolve sticks is anyone's guess and probably not possible for very long. That said, tune into this riveting (OK, fun to watch) reality show on E! Entertainment Television again next week when a fresh episode comes out.
