The Real Housewives of New York franchise fired three housewives after last season of the show. Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and Alex McCord were all booted from the series and now, fans are finally getting the answer as to why.
"Three cast members from the Real Housewives of New York were fired from the show because of negative feedback about them on social media," reports AdAge. "That kind of engagement is shrewdly pushed along by Mr. Cohen, who says of his post, 'I'm the biggest s**t-stirrer on the planet and I get paid to do it.'" Cohen truly makes a living causing drama between several groups of women in arguably one of the most successful franchises in reality TV history.
Negative feedback seems like an odd reason to blame the firings on. If that is true, should fans expect Teresa Giudice of New Jersey to be fired after this season? Even her co-stars don't like her anymore. What about Camille Grammer of Beverly Hills? After season 1, fans hated her and yet she was asked back. Perhaps the stars get a couple of seasons as a 'trial run' to see if fans will warm up to their characters!
Now that fans know how to get rid of their least favorite Real Housewives, they are sure to be sounding off on their favorite social media outlets!
