While the girls of Teen Mom may not make millions, they do make enough money to not have to struggle through life. Of course, it is easy to get used to spending money when you have it coming in, but not everything in life (including being a celebrity) last forever.
There have been reports that Jenelle Evans (who gained fame on 16 & Pregnant and later Teen Mom) has been spending her money frivolously and is on the verge of being broke. While it is no secret that she has been spending a good bit of money (boob jobs and new cars aren't cheap!), she maintains that she is actually saving money and is nowhere close to being broke.
Jenelle tweeted, "I'm not broke or close to it, I'm just not spending money and saving it."
Even though she claims to be saving, Nikkole Paulun of 16 & Pregnant tweeted that her former co-star is taking a road trip to California! Road trips aren't cheap and the nearly 3,000 mile trip to California is sure to have the Teen Mom dipping into her savings!
If she has toned down her spending, that is good. However, the spending that she was doing wasn't all "excessive." She purchased a new car, which is actually something useful. On the other hand, her boob job wasn't "necessary," but she has earned her money and if she felt the need to enhance her body then she deserves it.
She called out the articles in question saying, "According to articles I'm "broke" But "excessively spending money" at the same time hahahaha what?!"
The original articles cited a source from Reality Weekly who claimed to be close to the Teen Mom. If she truly isn't broke, then it looks like another "friend" simply sold Jenelle Evans out to make a quick buck.
