Years ago I gained a new perspective on the corporate world because my desk chair raiser broke. I was suddenly sitting lower by 4 inches. I noticed doughnuts being made on a lower floor, in the paint business factory where I was then employed.
I sat looking at doughnuts rolling by with various coatings, but suddenly felt something wrong and realized the doughnut holes missing.
I contacted our security chief. He contacted management and they contacted the company accountant to calculate how many doughnut holes had gone missing. He calculated this as revenue loss. All applauded this excellent tax write-off.

We do need to be careful of those donut holes!!
After all a straight doughnut is nothing, but an eclair.
