Liam Payne's Awkward Pineapple Conversation

Liam Payne got busy chatting with fans on Twitter earlier today before the One Direction concert in Tampa, and one conversation has Directioners a bit confused, especially since Liam just left everyone hanging while he went on stage.

The conversation started when <s>@</s>tomlincum tweeted Liam with this question:<s>"@</s>Real_Liam_Payne DO YOU LIKE PINEAPPLES?"

Already, it's hard to discern whether this is an innocent question or not.

Then, Liam Payne responds with this tweet: "<s>@</s>tomlincum i don't im not sure about there motives" (sic)

Isn't this a confusing conversation?

Kasey Scribner @Kasey_Scrib is trying to get more information about this pineapple conversation: "<s>@</s>Real_Liam_Payne <s>@</s>tomlincum what the heck does that mean Liam?! BHAHAHAHAHAHA that was like a Harry tweet! ?<s>#</s>confused"

Does this sound like a Harry Styles' tweet to you? Hopefully Liam Payne will return to this conversation after the Tampa concert and clear everything up. What a strange answer he gave to such a strange - and potentially suggestive - inquiry.
