Archeologists discover ancient objects in Gabala

New patterns of material culture were discovered in the course of archaeological excavations carried out in Gabala, the capital of Caucasian Albania, with the support of the Association of Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange (Seul-Baku-Seba) .
Head of the archaeological research team Jeyhun Emilli said that during the excavations conducted inÂ Selbir - urban settlement of the ancient period and the early Middle Ages- in April and June this year, there was revealed a rich cultural layer referring to the I-III and VIII-X centuries of our era. Archaeologists have uncovered part of the sewer system, tendir, copper coins, glassware, arrowheads, jewelry made of bone, glass, gold earrings.
