Kate Middleton is practicing her mothering skills on her new best friend, Prince Harry. The camaraderie between the two young Royals is obvious any time they are out in public together. Due to the royal pecking order, Kate and Harry are often placed next to each other, which leaves them free to crack jokes and entertain each other as they sit through one royal function after another.
Prince William is much more serious, but will often lean in to add his own two cents to the conversation. Their friendship was ever more apparent than on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, recently. Harry and Catherine kept up a running conversation and could be seen giggling occasionally.
According to insiders, Harry has adopted Kate as the big sister he never had. Harry could be feeling like the third wheel right about now with his single status. He is looking for a wife, but it isn't easy when you are a prince--right? Thankfully, he has the wise Kate to advise him in matters of the heart. She managed to snare her man after eight long years, so she must know a bit about the love game.
A source reveals how much Harry relies on Kate's wisdom, "He often turns to her for advice. They've always been close." Prince Harry is helping Kate as well. Prince William is working on his image as the future king and must remain stoic and regal. Not Harry. He is free to show his true colors.
Apparently, Kate Middleton truly appreciates Harry's antics. "She loves his sense of humor. He makes her crack up all the time, even when it's not appropriate," a source reveals. Kate's presence in the family has given Harry somebody to pal around with at royal functions, but surely he longs for his own lady.
