It's almost time for San Diego Comic-Con 2012, and along with the many television shows currently airing that will have panels, there's a special anniversary panel coming to Ballroom 20 that is guaranteed to be a must-see for many fans.
Firefly 10-Year Anniversary Panel Details
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed details about the special anniversary panel coming up on Friday, July 13 at 12:30 p.m. Fans will be able to head over to Ballroom 20 to see a panel with Joss Whedon, writer Tim Minear, and cast members Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, and Michael Fairman. Not only is there the usual panel, there's going to be "never-before-seen footage along with what Science is billing as 'numerous buzz-worthy surprises.'" It sounds like one you don't want to miss if you are a fan of the series.
Firefly may have only had one season, but its fans haven't forgotten the show. When better to celebrate the 10-year anniversary than at Comic-Con and with a panel? In fact, with reruns airing on Science Channel, people are still getting into the show even though it didn't last long.
This panel is part of the Science Channel's group of panels, which includes Dark Matters: Twisted But True with John Noble (Fringe) and the show's creators (Room 6A at 7:15 p.m. on Friday), and How Stuff Works with the hosts and celebrity guests (Room 5AB at 4 p.m. on Thursday). Science Channel is also going to be showing off its planned lineup on "special collectible bags" which attendees will want to pick up.
Will you be attending San Diego Comic-Con 2012? Are you planning to hopefully attend the Firefly anniversary panel?
