Not To Be You

To the ones who try and hurt me,
Whether its accidental or on purpose, 
I do not give you a second thought, 
I have made my piece with God
If you truly knew me, You would know
I don't try to start something or gossip
I do not twist words around for my benefit
I will tell you straight like it is
Whether you want to hear it or not
I could care less if you like my friends
They are mine, They were here before you
So don't try and make me choose
Because in the end you will loose
I know who I can trust
And it happens to turn out NOT to be you.

Good poem..Very powerfully stated.

Making peace with God is the greatest step that can ever be taken IMHO. Originality is always a winner...I have always been able to be myself much better than I could be anyone else...thanks for sharing.
