this is mild compared to other places around here. One house has water up to the door knobs of the house. People lost everything. My son and his family came to our home to spend a couple of nights. They haven't been able to get back to check their place out because of the flood waters.

Between the fires and the floods.... We get some strange weather in Canada too with fires and floods in certain places, but nothing really happens here in Guelph Ontario, so I guess we're super-duper lucky!!!

I've been seeing the flooding on TV...terrible. My mom lives in NE Florida, outside of Jax, but they must be okay or I know I would have heard something. I heard that part of I-10 was closed between Tallahassee and Jax. And, I swear I didn't have anything to do w/ it! When the news was first talking about Tropical Storm Debby, my mom called me and asked why was I stirring up trouble in the Gulf!

we are all ok here Sis. Earl and I just took Heather and Cody to see their house and THANK YOU JESUS!! the water did NOT get in the house and the yard is a little muddy, but they can go back home tonight and sleep in their own beds.

I am visiting with a friend who is renting a house in Siesta Key and the beach here is gone. The lagoon in the back has almost reached the deck. We watched the news last night and it was so upsetting to see how many people have lost so much.

I am going to put some more pictures on here of the flooding around Sopchoppy Florida and right here near us. They had to air boat some people out of their homes because they were traped.

This is a real mess but I am glad to hear it wasn't worse for her. Let's pray that the storm has moved out to sea never to return.
