Zayn Malik and the rest of the One Direction guys—Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles—have got to be pretty used to having girls hit on them by now. Although it can be flattering to get so much female attention, sometimes the attention is unwelcome. So, how do the One Direction guys handle having to let girls down? Zayn spills his method:
"You've got to be careful so you don't come across as arrogant. Say you 'don't want to ruin the friendship or whatever. There's no point in leading someone on."
Of course, that's assuming the girl was already a friend, in which case, Zayn is right—that's a sticky situation that most people would rather avoid. However, it's better to just be upfront and honest, especially if the friendship is one worth preserving.
Thankfully, Perrie Edwards didn't have to worry about that! It's clear that she and Zayn Malik have a good thing going on between them.
