Kate Middleton's Baby Will Destroy A Few Royal...

Kate Middleton may be forced to curtsy to the blood princesses today, but ultimately, she will have the last laugh. Catherine's husband will someday be King of England, which will ensure her place in the royal pecking order. Kate's firstborn will ultimately seal the deal and eventually force out some members of the extended royal family.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie may be blood relatives to the Queen, but that won't mean squat when Prince Charles takes over the reigns from his mama. According to royal insiders, Charles has some pretty grand plans that don't include his siblings and their offspring. Apparently, he is hoping to cut some of the fat and only keep about eight members of the family employed as full-time Royals. That means Beatrice and Eugenie would be left out in the cold and could be forced to get real jobs! Oh, the horror!

As the futures of some members of the royal family hang in the balance, it is no wonder there are some hard feelings. After all, Kate is a commoner, but has managed to wiggle her way into the Queen's good graces and secured her future in the royal family.

The act that set off this recent spate of royal irritation happened during one of the Diamond Jubilee events. The Queen sent a pretty clear message when she only allowed her son, his wife, his kids and Kate Middleton to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the flyby. Technically, they are the senior royals and the future of the monarchy.

Some are predicting the birth of Kate and Will's first child will ultimately squeeze Prince Harry out as well. Somehow, that does not seem like it would really hurt Harry's feelings. He makes it pretty clear being a royal is often more of an albatross than a blessing. He would be able to marry freely without the pressure of producing an heir to the throne.
