The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga watched as Caroline Manzo turned her back on Teresa Giudice after a blowout fight and how Jacqueline Laurita gave up on her friendship with Teresa at Melissa's launch party for her new song. In a matter of 24 hours, Teresa had lost two friends and Melissa was caught in the middle. Not only was Teresa left going after Kathy Wakile, but Melissa as her sister-in-law also felt it was necessary for her to reach out.
However, Melissa may not have given up completely on the relationship even though Teresa attacked her for contacting Danielle Staub three years ago, when Teresa and Danielle were fighting on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. "Of course there is always some drama, but at least Teresa and I laid it all out on the table. When Teresa asked me about Danielle, I told her the truth. I was wrong, so I apologized and hopefully we have moved past this. She is the one constantly saying to forget about the past and move on," The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga wrote on her Bravo blog.
However, it sounds like Melissa had to put her fighting with Teresa on hold when she watched Teresa talking to her husband about going to therapy. "The talk Teresa had with Joe made me smile. It makes me feel like she may really be ready to move on," Melissa continued. "She may need us now, and we won't turn our backs on her. It's not our style. There is love there if she could just get past the competitive BS. I'm going to be optimistic and put my all into the relationship. I really do want it to work. For the first time in my life, I feel like we are both really going to try and fix this. I truly want to enjoy her company and not because I have to, because I want to."
Melissa has forgiven Teresa for saying that she would leave Joe Gorga for a richer man, even if she meant it. It sounds like Melissa knows the truth, so Teresa's opinion doesn't matter much, especially because she has such a hard time keeping her own marriage working with Joe potentially heading to jail. Do you think Teresa and Melissa will work things out? Or will things just get worse now?
