Finally! Aishwarya Rai's Daughter Aaradhya Revealed in First Ever Photo!

I think it's an invasion of Aish's privacy for them to take a pic over Aish's shoulder and then zoom in on Aaradhya's face. But wow all I can say is those Bachchan genes are strong. She definitely looks like the Bachchan side of the family with the eyes and skintone and everything.

Invasion of privacy - yes. But it seems like the family is being a bit selfish by not sharing a photo of their daughter. With so many fans, and curious people - what harm could come from sharing one photo? All this nonsense could have been over with months ago if a. the name had been shared when it was decided and b. a photo of the baby. Most celebrities do cover up their babies in public - but will at least tweet or share a photo some where!

You make a good point, and there are so many people who think like you. I'm torn because I agree with you but at the same time they're the parents. They know what's best for their baby. If they are not releasing pics of Aaradhya there must be a reason for it. She's only 7 months old anyway. At 7 months the baby looks like any other baby anyway. Maybe they're waiting until she gets older to release the pics. So she doesn't feel like she was forced in front of the cameras so early on . Maybe they want her to get a bit older and make the decision on her own. We don't know and that's why there's no point of criticizing them. To be honest, I don't think the media, atleast the Indian media deserves those pics because of how they have treated Aishwarya.

I would like to think the pictures are for the fans of the actress and her husband, rather than strictly for the media. With regards to children agreeing to being exposed to the media - children often go with what their parents want. I think of the Gosselin kids who have been taught to say, "I miss the camera crews". Do those kids really miss having cameras recording their every move, especially now that they are growing up, and the twins are heading in to adolescence? From what I've seen of celebrity's babies, each one is unique. I never think one baby is just like another. But, perhaps they did want to wait till she was a bit older - maybe they wanted to release a family photo of sorts.
I'm not trying to be critical of them - just back to my original point which is when you choose to go after celebrity-dom, you choose to put yourself - and all that goes with you - in the public eye. If she is taking a stand from this point on to abandon starring in movies and such, and to settle down to be a wife and mother, or a business woman, or a baker - and taking herself out of the public eye, then fine, there's no need to worry. Interest would eventually dwindle down.
Again, I'm not trying to criticize -just saying more of a media frenzy is created when you try to hide. By hiding the baby, by nature, people are becoming seriously inflamed with seeing her. That doesn't make their actions right by any means - just understandable. It's being human.
I wonder if she realizes the fact that so many want to see the baby means she's touched that many people in one way or another?
