Disrespect is not an admirable trait. Â This is for those with a short memory. President Bush was portrayed as Hitler, a Nazi, hung in effigy and portrayed as a monkey numerous times. Â That does not mean it is "ok" if someone does the same to our current president, but hopefully it puts things into a bit of perspective. Politics can be an ugly business. Â I submit that we stop pointing fingers and start standing for our beliefs.

That "First Bush was Hitler, then Obama was Hitler." was a small oasis in that desert of ignorance.
Romney will win, unless Obama can scare up a vid of him in sexual congress with a goat, the economy is just too bad. As vicious as the campaign is going to be, though, it's hard to believe there won't be long lasting scars on the American psyche. They'll be calling each other cannibals by the time this is over.

I thought O was the antiChrist..........
Those who use personal attacks, are admitting their intellect is weak, their principles and their ethics are weak, that they don't even have 'good intentions'.
If they believe such personal attacks will succeed then they are admitting that they think the audience is low mind and weak like they are.
And each person it works on are also showing they are weak minded.
The personal attacks diminish the respect or conideration all others should give to the attacker. If it is a pattern from a group and that group does not distance themselves from the attacks and the attacker then they are lowering their standing.
