When Mickey Shunick vanished over a month ago, her case took the media by storm on a national level, now it appears that the mass media is losing interest in her case with there being a lack of resolution. That's a shame, but it's not unlike other high-profile cases such as the disappearances of Lauren Spierer, Paige Johnson, and many, many others. The last known update in the search for the missing woman indicated that officials searched Whiskey Bay area for clues, such as human remains. Evidently no body was found.
So why haven't there been anymore updates in the case of Mickey Shunick? The young anthropology major seemed to have vanished without a trace, leaving behind nothing more but a dented bicycle and ominous surveillance footage of a mysterious white pickup truck. It's not fair that the last update in this case was nothing more than cries for help in finding the missing woman.
Where are the investigators in all of this? Why have they not been forthcoming with information? Do they have a suspect? Persons of interest? Or are they stumped, allowing this case to slip right through their fingers?
