Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's pregnancy was surprising, to say the least. Fans didn't expect this wild party girl to settle down any time soon, and yet she is currently engaged and pregnant.
Polizzi recently broke the news to Jenni "JWoww" Farley on the duo's new reality show, Snooki and JWoww, and while it was hard to break it to JWoww, Polizzi says there was one person she was even more scared to tell.
"Oh, I was scared to tell my dad, of course," Polizzi reveals to PEOPLE Magazine.
After the initial shock wore off, her dad came around. Plus, he is a big fan of Polizzi's fiancé, Jionni LaValle. "[My dad] is excited now. I think [my parents] are more excited than we are. I'm their only child and this is going to be their [first] grandchild." Polizzi's parents adopted her from Chile!
Although Polizzi admits that settling down happened sooner than she expected, she's sure that Jionni is the one. "When people find the one they love, they feel like their spouse is their best friend and their lover. That's how you know you've found your soul-mate, and I've never had that with anyone except Jionni, so I put two and two together and figured he's definitely the one." The couple met in Seaside Heights a few years ago while Polizzi was filming Jersey Shore.
Regarding her reality TV career, Polizzi has said she'd love to continue with her own show—and even bring her baby along as guest star! Would you expect anything less from Polizzi? She's created an empire, so why stop now? "As long as he's comfortable with everything, I would. If not, I might have to step back a little. Now we have a child so there are other factors involved." Jionni doesn't love the camera—at least the Jersey Shore cameras! Perhaps something more low-key about his life with Polizzi wouldn't be as much of an issue.
Polizzi and LaValle's baby boy is due this September!
