I feel the bones of your ancestors
in the black ink of your pen
each letter carrying the
joys and burdens
a collective conscience
of embedded memories
I smell the rich green fields
on your skin as it presses
closely against my own
scented with wildflowers
where my gypsy self dances
awaiting your touch
I taste the rain in the wind
as I drink this elixir from your lips
You came out of no where
and now my dreams
are scented in clover
textured in shades of emerald
I sense a lucky charm about you
in the spark of your eyes
the curve of your smile
Desire personified
but perhaps you are an Asarlaí
who cast a spell on me
You are wickedly alluring
and you know it
