Kailyn Lowry has always been one of the most down to earth girls on the show, Teen Mom. Not only does she hold a steady job (that does not require camera to follow her around), but she is also very positive and nice. Perhaps that is one of the reasons Kail decided to lend her time to a photographer out of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania (not too far from Kailyn's hometown) and help show other girls that "Beauty is Sizeless."
It is the brainchild of photographer Katie Hedrick who, through the campaign, is hoping to spread a positive message to girls. Starcasm has a few of the photos from Kailyn's shoot as well as an interview with the photogrpaher who says she hopes to see the campaign really take off.
The message itself is one that Kailyn is hoping her fans embrace. It is important because self-image is something that many girls struggle with these days. There are so many pressures from the media to look a certain way (and size) and it is great to see one of the Teen Moms embracing her body and showing girls that you don't need to be a size three to beautiful, successful, or even a good mommy.
Of course, there are always those who are able to find something negative amongst all of the positive. A fan tweeted to Kailyn, calling her "a bit fake," due to the fact that Kail went on a 60-day Insanity workout plan to lose weight. Never the one to be rude, Kailyn politely responded, "I gained it all back. Who cares?! It's SizeLESS. Skinny and thick girls included. #think?"
This isn't the first positive campaign that Kailyn Lowry has posed for either. She also did some pictures for the "NOH8" campaign. Overall, she is one Teen Mom who is a great role model for girls. She shows them that everyone is equal no matter their who they love or what they look like.
