I can't speak to the hysteria of the right or the left concerning our 2nd ammendment rights acknowledged/recognized in the Constitution of our country, but my husband would be dead if he had not had his gun, and was able to pull the trigger on the attacker.

I loved the people in Alaska who were positive the Eric Holder and Barack Obama were taking away their guns, but had no idea what evidence there might be to support that belief. Reminds of the 2008 campaign where the pertinent saying was "Keep the government away from my Social Security."

Unbelievable.

Careful research finds that unlike the originators of Fast and Furious, the Bush DoJ, the Obama administration has actually arrested, indicted and jailed some of the buyers involved. THE failure that led to the death of a border patrol officer was a Failure by Mexican Authorities. They had been alerted to the guns moving across the border, complete with time date and place. The Federales were just somewhere else when the guns entered Sonora.

The absolute dishonesty of the former GOP, current Koch- and NRA-owned tea party Republicans, and their buffoonish followers, is emphasized by their actions every single day.

The ability to simply make things up and lie about them is well documented.

The sheer divorce from reality is downright scary.
