It's been a while since 'Bachelor' Jason Mesnick, dumped Melissa Rycroft on national television. Both parties are now happily married; Jason to Melissa's show rival. However, Melissa admits she still wishes she'd taken a swing at Jason at the time of the notorious on-screen dumping.

"I should have been madder," she told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. "I should have thrown a jab. That's internally what I wished I'd done."
Rycroft admits it was an embarrassing moment for her. "I wish someone would have given me some warning."
Her fans agree. The sabotage moment was one of the lowest in Bachelor history and that's something, given the shows seedy activities.
Melissa said initially she had no interest in doing the show. However, the show kept asking her and so she finally gave in. She said hesitation stemmed from seeing an episode on the Bachelor where they threw their star "under the bus." Rycroft notes, "he was their guy and they made him look bad. I thought...what would stop them from doing that to me...?"
Still, the raven-haired beauty has no regrets. If not for what she went through on the show, other opportunities like Dancing With the Stars and her own television show might not have made it her way. "I might not be where I am professionally," she admitted.
Melissa Rycroft wrote a brook about her reality experiences. It's entitled, oddly enough, My Reality. It's available now on most major bookshelves.
