The investigation suggests design flaws that may exist in other reactors
A nuclear nightmare on par with the Fukushima disaster could have unfolded at a power plant outside of Los Angeles, California, federal regulators reveal to the Associated Press in a just-published report.
Following an incident at the San Onofre power plant this past January, federal regulators have investigated conditions at the facility around 70 miles south of Los Angeles. Now after months of meticulous investigating, regulators involved in the probe tell the AP that design flaws have caused the tubing that carries radioactive water throughout the plant to be worn down extensively.   >>>>Â

Yes, the public needs to be proactive to insure the government and private companies are protecting our environment and insuring the safety of families around such sites.
Technology must still move forward to improve the quality of life for all of us. The problem is that human beings are too lazy to study and keep up with technology. If humans cannot resolve their own moral problems that have caused the many conflicts around the world there is little chance that they are smart enough to solve the problems both on a technological and moral level. But this is due to the poor input of lies and distortions of the truth whereby people are at the mercy of the more clever religious and ruling leaders, which includes America.
