The Pusha T Lil Wayne beef is apparently over. That's according to Weezy of YMCMB, who previously released a diss track called "Ghoulish" after sending a scathing tweet out about his fellow rap star on Twitter. Is the feud really over?
While a Chris Brown and Drake fight has taken over as the newest hip hop beef, it seems the Wayne and Pusha feud has faded. Just recently, news came that Weezy himself is saying he has no beef with Pusha any longer.
In an Associated Press interview, Wanye was asked about his music and beef. He responded:
I just finished recording my "I Am Not a Human Being II" album. And we're starting to work on the Young Money album. ... It really wasn't no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don't apologize for it because I'm human. But it was just my human reaction. I don't take it back. But there's no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. ... I'll move on.
Is it really over? It seems so, as one of rap's top stars is choosing to put differences aside with another popular rap star. It's a smart move on Weezy's part, because when it comes down to it, hip hop's really about the music, not the fights. Hopefully, Chris Brown and Drake are paying attention to that notion.
