Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, her new flame of the moment, may be revealing some romantic togetherness while they are in Paris, France--and reportedly cruising around in that pricey Lamborghini she recently gave him for his birthday. But, for England, the reality TV show diva unveiled something of another kind--entirely. And it could be affecting her relationships!
With such hit shows like E!'s Keeping up with the Kardashians, not to mention spin-offs the likes of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, it's easy for fans of this dynamic and entertaining family to think they may know them pretty well. After all, despite the fact that their "reality" may be scripted and a bit staged, the cameras are still closely following Kim and her sisters, Khloe and the pregnant Kourtney, and momager Kris Jenner, among the rest of the group. Plus, Kim keeps her massive amount of Twitter followers in the loop, as well!
But what those cameras and tweets may not have caught are some of Kim Kardashian's more, ahem, "krazy" quirks. She lately admitted some of them to the UK's Sunday Times Magazine. "My food is delivered everyday in little freezer packs. I put those in the refrigerator and make it's all tidy. I can't shut the door if things aren't on the right shelf," she revealed.
And the organization continues to the bathroom, where her 20-plus shower gels, body scrubs and shampoos are "all color-coordinated, height-coordinated and scent-coordinated. And I can't take a shower unless the bathroom is absolutely spotless," she said.
So, is such obsession with orderliness cool or way too over-the-top? Careful reality show observers may occasionally catch Kim's neat freak tendencies, especially back when she was with her ex, Kris Humphries, who wasn't as orderly as she might have preferred. But did it truly affect their relationship and lead, in part, to the divorce? Probably not. There were surely much larger issues at hand.
Hopefully Kanye West won't mind a little coordination in his life! It obviously hasn't affected their romance so far.
It's no surprise Kim Kardashian feels the need to have things so ordered and systematic, though. Her life and schedule is a crazy one, but at home, she probably feels as if she can maintain some element of sanity and control via "keeping up with the" clean factor.
And she's not denying her somewhat strange obsession, saying, "I think I'm totally OCD... everything has to be immaculate. I have a cleaner who comes three times a week, but I always do cleaning on top of that." She also "vacuums last thing at night." A slight case of obsessive-compulsive "diva" perhaps...
