Swedish Ham Balls

Yiled: 1 1/2 dozen
Ham Balls:
3 c Buttermilk baking mix
11 c Smoked ham minced
3 c Sharp cheddar cheese grated
1 c Swiss cheese grated
2/3 c Parmesan cheese
2 ts German brown mustard
2 ts Parsley flakes
2/3 ts Evaporated milk
Honey Sauce:
1 c Honey
1 c Yellow mustard
1 ts Nutmeg ground
*NOTE: it must noted that bthese delctable little ham balls are traditionally a Christmas specialty but now are also used any time as a specialty dish.
Ham Balls:
Pre-heat oven to 350 deg-F
Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Mix baking mix with ham & all remaining ingredients.
Shape mixture into 1" balls.
5.Place balls on cookie sheet 2" apart.
6.Bake 25 mins. until brown.
Remove immediately from pan & serve warm with sauce.
Honey Sauce:
Heat honey in small saucepan over med heat.
Stir in mustard & nutmeg.
Drizzle over ham balls or serve as a dipping sauce.
