Revenge season 2 is still weeks away, but one of the cast is happy with how things wrapped up in the season finale. That cast member is Madeline Stowe, the actress behind Victoria Grayson. In the finale, fans were left hanging about the woman's fate after the plane she was seen stepping on blew up. It is possible she never really stayed on that plane and will live on in season two. Her performance is already generating Emmy buzz for the actress.
Stowe was quite happy with how things ended for the series though. If the series didn't have a second season in the wings, the finale could have wrapped up the series quite well in her mind. She said the following, according to Wet Paint:
"Really, what I liked, if there is a single moment, it's the particular scene in the finale that is entirely silent. It was really kind of spectacular for tying in the entire story. If the show wasn't going to be picked up, it was a spectacular way to end that story, with no resolution whatsoever for anybody, the idea that revenge just brings terrible things to people. I don't have any wish lists. I don't ever think about it. I feel a very deep satisfaction over the way it was concluded, and all that went into supporting the theme of what happens to this young woman, in all of her damage and all of her hurt."
Stowe did have a stand-out performance in season one of Revenge. She was the highlight of the series. One of them, in any case. It would be nice to see a nomination for this actress and her work, but the series overall is also worthy of recognition. Stowe's remarks also make it seem like there is a chance that Victoria will not return in season two, but that could just be in the wording.
Victoria's fate is up to Mike Kelley. Fans will have to wait until the show premieres to find out what will happen next. What do you think? Do you want Victoria to live?
