As the mercury rises, it's tempting to crack open a cold brew. But, what about the family dog? Doesn't he deserve a cold beverage, too? Bowser Beer from Seattle is now making all of Fido's beverage dreams come true. Just grab a bottle opener.
The dog beverage company is enticing canines to partake in meaty bottled creations such as Beefy Brown Ale and Cock-a-Doodle-Brew—flavors sure to make a human patron's stomach churn, but make his four-legged friend pant with excitement.
The non-alcoholic, hops-free recipes are pet-safe and available to parched pooches at pet-friendly pubs, according to ABC News. Pet speciality retailers and grocery stores are also selling the dog beer. Just don't forget to also include a chaser bowl of cold water to keep the pet properly hydrated.
Although a bottle of brew for the dog sounds cute—and is definitely a conversation starter at a house party—is it really beneficial for the family pet? The company says the drink is fortified with glucosamine to strengthen dog's joints and is safe to use to moisten dry dog food.
What will they think of next, doggie daiquiris?
