The Chris Brown vs. Drake fight from last week is now bringing apparent lawsuits. This comes due to one patron who was reportedly injured during the bottle throwing, broken glass brawl.
While the Brown and Drake brawl has not seen any arrests yet, it has seen its fair share of victims. A report from NY Daily News indicates that 24-year-old Lucy Pavlovsky of Hoboken, New Jersey was one of the victims in the mêlée at the W.i.P. nightclub last Thursday. She suffered several gashes requiring 12 stitches on her arm. Now Pavlovsky is planning to sue, as her lawyer Javier Solano recently commented:
"My plan is to sue anybody who threw a bottle, anybody who created that dangerous atmosphere."
Solano added:
"It was like a war zone. You had guys there 300 pounds, 6-foot-5, throwing these bottles as hard as they can."
"It was wild enough that some people did not believe they were going to make it out of there."
Reportedly, Pavlovsky was sitting at rapper Fabolous' table, and she was among at least either others who were injured during the brawl. Some witnesses claimed the incident began between Chris Brown and Drake over Rihanna. Both musicians had previous romantic ties to Ri Ri.
Lawsuits seemed like they were only a matter of moments after several high-profile millionaire music stars got into this sort of altercation. However, one also has to believe the nightclub let things escalate to a level they shouldn't. It seems only a matter of time before more lawsuits start to pop up from the latest incident, but will either Chris Brown or Drake be found liable, or will the nightclub ultimately pay the price?
