Just in time for Father's Day, the news has hit that Kate Middleton hopes to make Prince William a father by next summer. Perhaps the Duke of Cambridge will celebrate his first year as a father next time this holiday rolls around.
While there has been a lot of speculation about Kate Middleton sporting a baby bump, recent photos appear to prove that there is nothing there. Just this weekend, the Duchess of Cambridge showed off her maternal side, though, on a camping outing with a group of eight and nine-year-old girls.
In fact, there is a window in place for the royal couple to get pregnant. According to a royal insider, Kate Middleton hopes to get pregnant sometime between September 2012 and summer 2013. Ideally, the couple will announce their baby news at New Year's 2013.
The good news for royal baby bump watchers, "the pregnancy will be announced. It won't be hidden," according to a royal inside source. There is constant scrutiny of the Duchess's midsection, so it is possible that news of a royal baby will be leaked even before that all important first trimester is over. Of course, it probably won't be official until then though. In fact, it seems likely that the palace may keep Kate out of the public eye before it is safe to announce her impending motherhood.
