Kate Gosselin Excited for Girls' Weekend

Kate Gosselin is excited to be spending the weekend with some friends that she made while running a marathon in Las Vegas in December. The former reality star will be catching up with some women and enjoying some adult time. Kate's eight are likely spending the weekend with their dad, Jon.

"Gotta go get ready for my weekend with my marathon friends! We ran the Las Vegas marathon together in December and are spending some girl time together this weekend! YAY!" Kate tweeted on Saturday. It sounds like she's ready for some drinks and girl talkÂ—but it won't be surprising if they go for a run together first!

It sounds like Kate Gosselin will be having these women at her home in Pennsylvania. Luckily she has a really nice yard and swimming pool so the atmosphere will be perfect just as long as the weather holds out. Hopefully Kate has made some friends for life with these ladies.

Of course Sunday she will tweet how exhausted she is, and yes, the kids came home, and cried they want a TV show. Not really breaking news. Maybe next week she can get together with the girls from the Chicago run with the following weekend coming to N.Y. with the road manager to have her hair done. Then you can tell us how she needs the time off.

The poor kids. Spending the time with their dad, who was happy when they got divorced and left. Kate needs to focus on the kids. I feel horibble for them.

By all accounts the kids love going to their Dad's. Meanwhile, Kate is throwing him under the bus yet again regarding visitation. She says he only takes them a few days a month, and can have them any time, and he claims that she won't let him take them more.
All that aside, I don't know what she has to complain about. She certainly manages to get on a plane at least once a month, and has regular nights out.

The friends with whom Kate ran the Vegas race live locally and close to her home. She's probably going to be with these friends for an hour ot two, not the week-end.

Can't Kate announce that she loves Kansas City steaks, and she is sure her guests would love them too.Maybe they will send her a case, gratis of course. Then go to a local farmer and pick up some buckwheat and alfalfa for the kids. Michelle needs her and I'm planning to go to Guatemala next week and hunt Anacondas.

Kate tweeted that she saw Effie's story mere hours after it was posted. Kate claims it to be "true", "accurate" and "positive".
Interesting and begs questions. Does Kate always read this site? Or does she only read Effie's work? Does Effie know Kate, hence Effie drinking the Kate Kool-Aide of false positivity? And what is up with Kate's attitude that all of the positive things wrtten about her are accurate and all of the negative things written aren't?
