The first stanza of this poem was inspired when I fell in the jacuzzi while trying to read Tracy Fabre's book. Richard Livesay and a few other Gatherites collaborated on it and here's what came out of it.
The itsy bitsy spider
Went down the water spout
Up came the water
And dumped the spider out.
The spider was a swimmer
I let out quite a scream
It swam around like Michael Phelps
I was hoping it was all a dream
It was looking at me like a meal
It's eyes were flashing red
I moved around the jacuzzi
I think it wanted to be fed
i will not scream
i will not shout
i ran to the edge
about to jump out
I splashed a wave, two or three
Into the drain it finally went
Disappeared, went out of sight
But I wondered where it was sent
That night I lay in bed and tossed
Heard a strange scratching sound
Made my way to the bathroom door
You'll never believe what I found
Crawling out of the toilet
Hundreds of eight-legged beasts
Spiders, spiders everywhere
I was caught in a web, for eats

Hey, Pam....♥♥
I'm not on here regularly and missed it......after, of course, causing trouble. I'm on my way now and hope you forgive me. ;^)

Thanks for sharing with Triple Name Club.
Pam, do you really have the Jacuzzi connected and working now? Or was that part just wishful thinking. I'm blaming you for the spider nightmares I may have tonight.
I hope your skin is nicely toasted by the Sun for their culinary pleasure.
You need a slight edit.
