Obama changes his mind on deportation of some illegals! What is wrong with the previous sentence and this President? If they are illegal than they are illegal. No country in the world does this. Especially Mexico. Mexico has a very strong illegal alien policy. They just throw your butt in jail.

I was in Italy and they have zero tolerance for illegals, so why i this President making exceptions? Immigrants should be treated with respect, but illegals need to go home and get legal. The fact that he is kissing butt in an election year is so painfully political. However, you speak to legal immigrants and he might be surprised at how they feel angry with him.

Why did anyone bother to come to the United States legally when Obama just makes it open to everyone.

You do realize that people who want to come here legally have to wait for a decade or more sometimes because we have so many illegals. How is that right?
The last sentence/paragragh is the most telling of all.

Its all about the votes.... He needs these people to vote for him.. Just like he is appeasing the gay community, now its the illegals, he caters to the unions, he stirs up the woman to make it appear that its the Republicans who is holding them back... and the list goes on and on... If he spent as much time getting good paying jobs for the American people, he might get something accomplished... I think he has been on a campaign mode since he was first sworn in as president... He is always jetsetting around to put to much thought into helping this country...
He was under quite a bit of pressure to do this. You can see what I mean if you read here.

I'm not also saying he was right to do it, but I'm just saying that this is what caused him to do this. He's not a leader at all; he gets pushed around very easily.

He didn't make it open to anyone. There are several conditions on his immigration plan. I agree with his immigration plan. Many of these people were brought to the US by their parents as small children with no choice on their parts. They were raised in America and speak English and go to American schools and have American friends. America is all they know and they are familiar with our culture, although they may be bilingual and also observe customs from their Mexican or other Hispanic country's culture. Being bilingual, there are job opportunities for them that are not available to people who only speak English. They can grow up to be translators and Spanish teachers or they can work in a business where its important to be able to speak both Spanish and English. I believe kids who grew up in America from a young age are just as American as I am.

Obama didn't change his mind. This has always been his policy and now the Department of Homeland Security wants it too. Because it's sensible.

Romney is now flip flopping all over on the issue. Vote for him! LOL

The Conservative policy is to send children who grew up in America who didn't do anything wrong away to a foreign country they don't know anything about to possible starve in the streets. And that's after we become a huge police state so we can actually round them all up first. Compassionate, LOL
