Laughing gas anyone?

 Tuesday I had to go to the dentist, and they used nitrus oxide (sp.?). The lady one divider over from me was telling the lady working on her how she wished they would use nitrus oxide for fibromyalgia patients. Having fibromyalgia myself I thought that would be nice, but I'd actually rather use it for my migraines.  Granted, no is ever going to allow that to happen, but laughing gas is some good stuff. I used to not take it and just have things done without any pain kiler until one time the dentist didn't numb the area he was "drilling" and after that I decided it might be a good idea.

 I was having two temporary crowns put in. Due to dental incomeptence years ago by a different dentist, I need a bridge. But it was 3,300 dollars. And yes, I priced them. That was the lowest I could get because I have no dental insurance. So I said is there anything else and they told me I could get crowns. Which is 2,300 dollars. But I had a good idea. I asked them how much were temporary crowns. Because I used to grind my teeth so much I once cracked a tooth. Because I couldn't afford a permanent fix they did a temporary on it, and it's lasted two whole years so far. So I figured I could count on the same thing with temporary crowns. So two temp crowns were $644. Still a lot of money, but much better than over three thousand.

 My dad helped me with the cost. I feel badly about it, but he told me I help him with my mom so he likes helping me when he can. Here's hoping the temporaries last years to come!
