Glee fans can rest easy. The series is now heading to Comic Con next month. Fox hadn't originally scheduled a panel for the series at the event, but that has now changed. The series will appear at the event after all.
Why the change? Apparently, the cast wanted to attend the event. Which stars from the series will show in San Diego next month? Several of the cast members have already signed up to appear. This includes Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Naya Rivera are all scheduled to appear. Brad Falchuk said the following about the addition of the series to the Comic Con line-up, according to From Inside The Box:
"The fans at Comic-Con were among the first to really get behind our show, and we've had such a great time returning there every summer. This was the first year our cast has not gone out on tour, so Ryan [Murphy] and I thought we'd let them have some well-deserved time off. But everyone wanted to be there, and we couldn't be happier to report that 'Glee' is returning to the convention where we feel it all started."
Brad Falchuk will also be in attendance at the event. When will the panel be held? Glee fans need to mark down July 14 as the date for this series' taking over of Comic Con.
What do you think? Will you be headed to Comic Con to check out this panel?
