Grey's Anatomy has a lot of drama ahead when it returns for season nine, but not everything can be bad, right? There is some good news for at least one character. Miranda Bailey, played by Chandra Wilson, has a man in her life, and it appears he will remain in her life - even if he just accepted a job to intern in another city. The two will still be engaged when the season returns.
Jason George shared the inside scoop on the couple and whether or not his new role in another ABC series, Mistresses, will have an impact on his sticking around Seattle Grace-Mercy West. He said the following, according to TV Guide:
"The beautiful thing about it is that we're on the Disney lot; it's all ABC, so they can rearrange the furniture however they want. Lisa Kudrow still popped onto Mad About You during the first one or two seasons of Friends, so I'll remind Shonda Rhimes of that."
George did appear on another Shonda Rhimes series, Off The Map, for a time. Rhimes does seem to enjoy his work, so she will hopefully try to make it work for him and for Bailey. With the death of Lexie Grey and Teddy's departure, the staff at the hospital will need something cheerful to balance out all the depression.
Bailey has not had the best of luck in the romance department, so it will be nice to see her and Ben make it work.
What do you think? Do Bailey and Ben make a good match on Grey's Anatomy?
